What GLINPIC is and what it is used for:
GLINPIC is a multi-dose pen intended for use by a single person. It contains a clear and colorless solution for injection in a pre-filled 3mL pen. Each pen contains 3mL of colution and provides 4 doses of 1 mg each.
GLINPIC is produced by recombinant DNA technology in SACCHAROMYCES CEREVISIAE. It helps regulate the blood sugar level in your body. It lowers blood sugar only when it too high and helps to reduce the risk of hearth disease. It is used to treat adults with type-2 diabetes when diet and exercise alone are not sufficient.

Following the tips below may help you manage stomach-related side effects of semaglutide:
•Eat more slowly
•Eat smaller meals
•Prefer simpler, low-fat foods (such as crackers, toast, or rice)
•Avoid fatty, fried, or sugary foods
•Consume foods containing liquid (such as soup or gelatin)
•Do not lie down immediately after eating
•Drink clear, cold fluids (such as ice water)
•If you feel nauseous, try to get some fresh air outside if possible
•Not recommended in patients with severe gastroparesis due to diabetic neuropathy
4. Recommended Dosage of GLINPIC
•Start with 0.25 mg once weekly for 4 weeks, administered as a subcutaneous injection. The 0.25 mg dose is intended for treatment initiation and is not effective for glycaemic control.
•After at least 4 weeks at the 0.25 mg dose, increase the dosage to 0.5 mg once weekly.
•After at least 4 weeks at the 0.5 mg dose, if additional glycaemic control is needed, the dosage may be increased to 1 mg once weekly.
•After at least 4 weeks at the 1 mg dose, if further glycaemic control is required, the dosage may be increased to 2 mg once weekly. The recommended maximum dose is 2 mg once weekly.
•Administer GLINPIC once weekly, on the same day each week, at any time of the day, with or without meals.
•If necessary, the weekly administration day may be changed, provided that the time interval between two doses is at least 2 days (>48 hours).
•If a dose is missed, administer it within 5 days after the missed dose. If more than 5 days have passed, skip the missed dose and take the next dose on the regularly scheduled day. In this case, patients can continue with their weekly dosing regimen as planned.
5. STORING GLINPIC:
Keep GLINPIC out of the sight and reach of children and in this original packaging. Use according to the expiration date. Do
not use GLINPIC after the expiration date on the packaging and carton.
A. BEFORE OPENING:
Store in the refrigerator (2°C-8°C). Do not freeze. Keep away from the freezer. Do not remove the pen cap to protect from light.
B. DURING USE:
Store the pen at room temperature below 30°C or in the refrigator (2°C-8°C) away from the freezer for up to 6 weeks. Do not
freeze GLINPIC and do not use it if frozen. Keep the pen cap when not in use to protect from light. Do not use this product if you
notice that the solution is not clear and colorless or almost colorless. Dont throw away expired or unused products!
