Nandrolone Pheny|propionate (NPP) is a testosterone-derived anabolic androgenic steroid. Nandrolone Pheny|Propionate is a 19-nor steroid due to modification of one atom. Compared to dihydrotestosterone, Nandrolone Pheny/Pripionate has more anabolic activity but less androgenic activity than unmodified testosterone. Nandrolone Pheny|Pripionate is released from the injection area and remains in the body for approximately one week. Therefore Nandrolone Pheny|Pripionate is effective when injected every 2 to 3 days to maintain levels in the body. Nandrolone pheny propionate produces a sharp increase in blood serum levels of the free form of nandrolone within 24-48 hours from the time of injection. Because of this sharp increase and rapid release of Nandrolone, this product is sometimes preferred to the longer-acting version. Athletes choose this substance after competing and dealing with joint pain because the longer- acting version takes longer to work. This item is not as androgenic as testosterones, but this does not mean that it is not androgenic at all. It can have some androgenic effects at high doses. In other words, at low doses you can see very little androgenic effects, but at high doses you may experience oily skin, acne, and body/facial hair growth. Male pattern hair loss, deepening of the voice, and clitoris enlargement in women are also possible. Since this substance is not c-17 alpha alkylated, liver toxicity is very unlikely.
